This week Kingston and Becca interviewed KWMCS students and teachers.
The questions asked were: 
*What Montessori means to them?
*If they know who Maria Montessori is?
*What their favorite Montessori lesson or work is?
*Do they think the Montessori way of teaching is better than other ways of teaching?

From the Mahi classroom...
Zane said his favorite lesson is the Continent game.
Juliette said KWMCS is a good school and we teach lessons better.
Tate said Montessori means a special place where I can learn.
Ms. Nicole said her favorite Montessori lesson is the Cultural biomes, and when asked if she knew who Maria Montessori was, she replied that Maria Montessori was an Italian doctor.

From the Green Iguana classroom...
Chaya said her favorite Montessori lesson is the shapes.
Gabriel said Montessori was good because students pick what to do out of the lessons given.
Olivia said our school is a very unique school that special people can go to and it is a better school than any other school.

From the Blue Tang classroom...
Taylor said the teaching method in interesting because it gives kids more attention than other schools. 
Kai says Montessori means epiphany.
Ms. Ashlie said Montessori means being able to teach in a non-traditional way while incorporating important life skills.

From the Conch classroom...
Soyer said that he knows Maria  Montessori made the lessons we have today.
Morgan said her favorite lesson is Rocket Math.
Dre said his favorite lesson is the Stamp game.
Ms. Jackie said Montessori means teamwork, leadership, creativity, and a special way of learning about our world.

From the Reef Gecko classroom...
Eiren said he does not know who Maria Montessori is.
Emmy said Montessori means a warm, peaceful environment.

From the Goliath Grouper classroom...
Isabella said her favorite lesson is the Factor trees from Ms. Mendy.
Cole said that Montessori is a better way of teaching because you get to pick what work you do after you learn it, and in other schools you learn all together and don't cooperate as much.

From the Front Office...
Ms. Pam said that Montessori means changing our society by educating our children and linking it to the outside world.  She said she absolutely thinks the Montessori Method is better than other ways of teaching.
