Happy New Year!

The 6th year students worked at the Food Bank this Friday, cutting fruit for a fruit salad that the Food Bank is taking to a local fundraiser, and helping guests do their shopping.

Conch Classroom:  interviewed by Francesca -- typed by Megan

Skylar is a first grader. This week Mrs. Lynn came and read some books to the class. Skylar's New Years Resolution is to finish all of her chapter books at her house. For winter break Sylar and her family went to Disney World. The Monster at the End is her favorite book.

2nd grader Morgan is in Mrs Michelle's class. On Friday the Conchs are dressing up as a character from a book. Her goal this year is to complete all of her work. Morgan went  to New Jersey for her winter break. Her favorite book series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Robert is a 3rd grader. Since they can dress up for Literacy Week, Robert is going to dress up as E.B. White. For Robert's winter break he went to Busch Gardens with his Grandparents. His favorite book is Charlottes Web.

Blue Tangs 7th grade:  interviewed by Malisa and typed by Megan

Taylor is in 7th grade. Her New Year's Resolution is to be less selfish and to read more books. Taylor's favorite color is blue. Her favorite food is Korean, and its called Singung. She doesn't have any plans for literacy week.

Finn
Finn is in 3rd grade.  For literacy week, Finn is researching his favorite authors. One of his New Year Resolutions is to do good in school. For winter break he stayed here with his family. One of the books he is reading is Great Americans. For work he is reading.

Jonibeck
Jonibeck is in 3rd grade as well. For literacy week he is reading a lot of books. One of his resolutions is to read more. For Winter Break he selebrated his sister's birthday and stayed home. He is reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  He is mostly doing Cultural and Language works.
Gili
Gili is in 3rd grade also. For literacy week, Gili is reading a lot. One of Gili's New Years Resolutions is to concentrate better on his work. For winter break he stayed home with his family. Right now he is currently reading The Adventures of Tin Tin.  Some of the work he is doing is biomes and math problems.

Mary
Mary is one of the 6th graders running this blogger. She is very knowlegable when it comes to science. Mary's favorite Montessori lesson is the Timeline of Life. For literacy week Mary also made medals for her favorite books. Mary's favorite books are the entire Harry Potter series. Over the long break she just hung out with friends and played on the computer.  Her New Year's Resolution is not to have any.
Leela
Leela is a very spontaneous girl. She's in the 5th grade and has been going to Montessori for 2 years . Leela adores science because of the Solar System. She's reading Will and the Battle of Gettysburg for literacy week but, her favorite book is Heartbeat. Over break Leela went to Pennsylvania.  Her New Years Resolution is to do her best in school.

Juliandra
Juliandra is in the 5th grade and has been in Montessori for about 7 years. She loves art because you have the freedom of expression, and you get to be creative. For literacy week she is reading Rainbow Magic, and she made a medal for her favorite book. Her New Year's Resolution is to read more, but now she might not want to. Over break she went to Orlando and went to most of the parks there. How fun! This weekend she might go to Marathon. All in all Juliandra loves Montessori.

Mason
Mason is also one one of our talented 6th graders. He plays the amazing Alto Saxophone. He adores the color green, and is fasicnated by math. His favorite snack is homemade cookies.  Mason is 12 years of age, and has 3 cats.  He thinks our school is very lucky to have so many amazing students.

George
George is a working fanatic, and is in 6th grade. This long weekend he went swimming in the deep blue. (sounds like fun). He is very talented to play hockey and soccer. He also loves cookies and pasta. Orange is his favorite color, and he plays well on alto sax.

Denisa
Denisa is a very intelligent young 5th year girl. She loves discovering new history. She has a cat, a fish and maybe someday a dog, She used to play Hockey for 3 years and plays soccer and has for 7 years.

Eddie
Eddie is 6 years old is in the 1st grade. Eddie's favorite subject is math. His favorite color is gold. He is reading The Halloween Party from the Black Lagoon. Have fun Eddie!

Victoria
Victoria is in the 2nd grade. She is 7 years old. Her favorite color is green. Victoria's favorite books are by  Doctor Suess. She loves math.

Amanda
Amanda is a 3rd grader. She is 9 years old. She loves cultural studies.  Her favorite book is the BFG ( Big Friendly Giant). Amanda's favorite color is white.
